  Biscuit Pizzas

 


 

Serves 6

Ingredients:
packages refrigerated prepared buttermilk biscuits, Pillsbury®
  Nonstick vegetable cooking spray, PAM®
1 cup onion, chopped
1 package (3-ounce) thinly sliced prosciutto (deli section), chopped, Citterio®
1 cup traditional tomato sauce, Ragú®
6 large button mushrooms, sliced
1 cup shredded pizza-blend cheese, Sargento®

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Preparation:

  • Bake biscuits according to package instructions.
  • Cool biscuits.
  • Spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray.
  • Split biscuits in half and arrange, split side up, on a cookie sheet. Set aside.
  • Bring oven heat to 400 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, combine onion and prosciutto.
  • In a second small bowl, combine tomato sauce and mushrooms.
  • Spread tomato mixture evenly over biscuit halves.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Top with prosciutto and onion mixture.
  • Bake for 12 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
